Was James Potter a troublemaker?
Personality. In his schooling years, James was both a jock and also a mischievous troublemaker. He was extremely prideful and he constantly butted heads with a fellow schoolmate, Severus Snape with the help of his best friend Sirius Black.
James saves Snape, but even nearly causing someone to die didn't change him, didn't get him to shape up and become a nicer person. He still continued to bully people, including Snape, for no reason.
One small act of kindness can mean the world
Harry wasn't the only one persecuted by bullies. Malfoy and his cronies were particularly cruel to Neville Longbottom, who was too terrified to do anything about it. Though Neville's mishaps were often comical, there's nothing funny about the pain he suffered.
James Potter may have been a hero but in many ways, he only got worse to fans as the Harry Potter series went on. A significant point to be noted in the Harry Potter series is the fact that the titular character's father is far from the good guy he was initially made out to be.
Following an O.W.L. exam, James, with partner in crime Sirius Black, confronted the vulnerable young Snape, pinned him to the ground, filled his mouth with pink soap bubbles then lifted him into the air, threatening to completely undress the pale, slight Slytherin boy in front of a giggling crowd of fellow students.
JK Rowling said he was a chaser.
No. There is nothing written about James ever apologizing to Snape for his bullying and harassment. Not from James, or the other Marauders, or anyone else.
James was a bully in school — to the point that even the biggest of James Potter apologists can't deny this. He mercilessly teased Snape, and in one particularly horrific memory, hung him upside down and exposed him in front of the entire school.
Lily saw James had matured, she gave him a chance. She liked what she saw, and the two fell deeply in love and married.
Draco Malfoy is most well known as a bully throughout the entire Harry Potter series. However, towards the end of it, as Draco gets older, many of his choices and the information revealed suggests growth and complexity, much like most people go through when transitioning from childhood to adulthood.
Who was the cruel caretaker of Hogwarts?
Argus Filch is the caretaker at Hogwarts. He has a pet cat called Mrs. Norris who is usually on the prowl, keeping an eye out for him. He is bitter, cruel and seems to hate the students.
1. The Death of Dobby, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (2010) This one is just painful. Has any Harry Potter fan out there not sobbed uncontrollably over the death of the "free elf," after sacrificing himself to save Harry, Hermione and Ron (Rupert Grint) from the Death Eaters at Malfoy Manor?

Hermione Granger is quite possibly the number one fan-favorite Harry Potter character of the series. She's the perfect combination of heart and head, extremely clever but also brave and compassionate.
He was known for being rather arrogant and full of himself and for thinking he could get away with a lot of rule-breaking but, on the other hand, he also risked his life many times to do the right thing.
As he got older, this behavior showed as he carried an air of superiority that only grew as he got older. His rivalry with Severus Snape started early as well, when he insulted the Wizard while on the Hogwarts Express. Since then, James and his friends taunted Snape throughout most of their schooling.
It wasn't Sirius who betrayed the Potters to Voldemort, but he did persuade them to make Pettigrew their Secret-Keeper.
All Potter fans know the story: Harry glimpses Snape's “Worst Memory” in fifth year and discovers that his father was not the great guy that any orphaned child would prefer to envision. His dad was a horrible bully who tormented fellow classmates and had a towering ego to match.
Ginny Weasley's flying talents are considerable — she's the only known Harry Potter character to play both Seeker and Chaser for Gryffindor.
While both Fred and George were excellent Beaters, and a credit to the Gryffindor Quidditch team, there were more mentions of George hitting Bludgers than there were of Fred.
What personality type was James Potter?
James Potter is an ESTP personality type.
While in school together, Sirius once tricked Snape into almost entering the Shrieking Shack while Lupin was there, transformed into a werewolf. James realised the danger and stopped Snape, saving his life; this is the incident Dumbledore referred to at the end of the first book.
Known life debts
In his fifth year James saved Severus Snape from a near-fatal prank that Sirius Black played on him, which involved luring Snape to the Shrieking Shack where Remus Lupin was in his werewolf form. As such, Snape owed James a life debt, although they hated each other.
Snape rushed to the Shack, unaware he was walking into a lethal situation. Ultimately though, James rushed into action and managed to reach Snape before he could be fully exposed to Lupin. Although Snape discovered the truth about Lupin, James' actions saved his life.
Lily is furious with Snape for calling her a Mudblood, and for speaking contemptuously of Mudbloods in general. Snape frantically apologizes, but Lily tells him they have chosen separate ways.
Peter Pettigrew
Wormtail's betrayal was so unexpected that it was overlooked for 12 years. James and Lily died not knowing exactly what led to Voldemort finding them, but they knew that Peter was involved, whether voluntarily or unwillingly.
James Potter
James's Animagus form was that of a stag, which earned him his nickname, Prongs. Strikingly, Harry's Patronus was a stag and his mother Lily's was a doe, a female deer, showing that the family's characters were in harmony and formed part of the same animal group.
James fell in love with Lily from the moment he first saw her on their first train ride. James was especially delighted when they were both sorted into, in James' opinon the best house ever, Gryffindor.
Why didn't James Potter's sacrifice save Lily and Harry? Because Lily could have saved herself and chose not to. Voldemort told her to move aside, honoring Snape's request that Lily be shown mercy.
The Patronus of Harry's mother, Lily Evans, took the form of a doe. Lily is never seen casting a Patronus in the "Harry Potter" books or films, but Rowling has noted her ability to produce a corporeal doe Patronus on multiple occasions.
What was James Potter personality?
Personality and traits
James was a clever and talented wizard, but very mischievous in his youth. He could be arrogant and boastful, and even bullied other students on occasion, particularly his long-time rival, Severus Snape.
James was a clever and talented wizard, but very mischievous in his youth. He was arrogant and boastful. He occasionally bullied and jinxed other students just for fun, particularly his long-time rival, Severus Snape. However, even in this stage of arrogance, he still displayed some positive qualities of character.
All Potter fans know the story: Harry glimpses Snape's “Worst Memory” in fifth year and discovers that his father was not the great guy that any orphaned child would prefer to envision. His dad was a horrible bully who tormented fellow classmates and had a towering ego to match.
Hermione Granger is quite possibly the number one fan-favorite Harry Potter character of the series. She's the perfect combination of heart and head, extremely clever but also brave and compassionate. Hermione doesn't always make the right decisions, but she tries hard and stands by Harry when no one else will.
James Potter, like the other Marauders, was not more powerful than Voldemort. He was a great wizard, and his status as an Animagus is more than impressive. He could master powerful magic and he and Lily became nothing short of legends in the wizarding world.
First of all, Rowling never described James as a “pure" person. Even in the first book she has Albus claim that James was to Severus what Draco was to Harry. And JKR also drew a subtle parallel between James and Dudley by giving them both a rat-like sidekick with even a very similar name (Peter and Piers).
James Potter – March 27
Aries men are known for being self-involved, as readers saw in flashbacks to the Marauders' time in Hogwarts. Although he is egotistical, James is also extremely courageous and enthusiastic, as Aries men tend to be.
Voldemort's most faithful follower, Bellatrix Lestrange, is an ESFP (also called the entertainer). They are extroverted, sensing, feeling, and perceiving. Some of the weaknesses of ESFPs are that they “dislike abstract theories, become bored easily, do not plan ahead, impulsive” (verywellmind).
Which personality type is James Potter? James Potter is an ENFJ personality type. Thoughtful and idealistic, he strives to support people and help them reach their potential. Typically, ENFJs go above and beyond for friends, family, and those in need.
Tobias Snape was a Muggle man who married pure-blood witch Eileen Prince. He is the father of Severus Snape, and in general seems to be rather abusive and unpleasant.
